De 1979 à 1983, Dièse 440 s’est exclusivement produit en concert : le dispositif sonore du groupe était un système de diffusion multicanaux de dix haut-parleurs, répartis autour du public et d’une colonne centrale multidirectionnelle. Le dispositif visuel était constitué de diapositives, projetées sur un écran sphérique (ballon météo).

From 1979 to 1983, Dièse 440 had their output exclusively in concert: the group worked with a multichannel system of 10 loud speakers, distributed around the public and on a central multidirectional column. The visuals were comprised of slides projected on a spherical screen (meteorological balloon).
